Our Foundation is Innovation

The reason Interlube was launched is because we are one of the first solution providers to a very old problem, environmental contamination from industrial equipment use. The lifeblood to most heavy equipment can include hydraulic fluid, coolant, transmission oil, grease and more to keep the equipment running optimally.

Occasionally, when equipment failures occur, those various fluids are expelled and contaminate the soil, product and their human operators; which then triggers the necessary decontamination procedures that cost money and create unscheduled downtime.

The solution is relatively simple to transition to, but creating biodegradable alternatives compelling enough to transition to is not. It was important for us to create options that would not only be biodegradable, but also outperform the incombent petroleum options. When we achieved that minimum threshold we established the company and have continued to expand both the product line and range of solutions we develop for the operational obstacles we help our clients navigate. Our breadth of experience to date augments our service offering because we propose innovative ideas and are then able to create and deliver them.

Our products themselves are completely innovative. When compared to petroleum options it’s less harmful to use, less harmful to produce and is even engineered to out perform traditional options.

We meet the standards required by manufacturers to ensure that warranties are upheld when using our products. Part of our service offering includes an independent laboratory monitoring both performance and environmental impact reduction reports. Our products meet or exceed the OECD301B standard of up to 90% biodegradability within 28 days, which certainly protects the environment when spilling in ecologically sensitive areas.

BIO Fluid Conversions

The conversion process from hydrocarbon to biodegradable is a well documented procedure that is crucial to successfully transition your heavy equipment operation.

We have also developed proprietary conversion fluids to eliminate contaminant build-up from use of previous products before fully implementing our permanent biodegradable replacement. The conversion process varies by equipment manufacturer, but is never overwhelmingly difficult. As long as our process is properly implemented, our subsequent equipment tests will tell us everything we need to know.

A common misconception with utilizing our biodegradable products is that it comes with a sacrifice in performance. The opposite is actually true, because we purposefully formulate our product to exceed the performance standards of the fluids we are replacing.
